Frequently asked questions
Original vs XL Bags
For most people, our original size bags provide plenty of storage space to get the job done while not feeling bulky. But if you feel you need extra room for fasteners or other tools to cut down on trips down the ladder or back to the truck, you may benefit from our large bags. The large bags are around 10 inches wide below the tape pouch, at the widest point. The originals are about 8.5″ at that same point. Tape pouches are the same size on both. The pouches are designed specifically to utilize all the space within. There are no hidden corners or dead space. It’s all usable. This allows us to keep the bags relatively streamlined while still providing an exceptional volume. Currently, the FSU is our only set that comes standard with XL bags.
Can I just use my pants size to figure my belt size?
DO NOT base your choice on your pants size. Take a string or tape measure and measure snugly where you plan to wear your tool belt. To ensure you get the belt that will offer you the most flexibility, it’s important that you read and follow the instructions on our Belt Sizing page.
What is the return policy?
We offer a 30 day return policy. Understanding the nature of purchasing online, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of arriving to you. We offer this policy in the same way you’d expect a shoe return policy to work. Returns need to be in new condition to be accepted. This means no loading up with dirty tools and nothing covered in saw dust. It needs to have no signs of use. You will also need to contact us BEFORE shipping your return back to us. You are responsible for shipping charges. We suggest the USPS and insuring your package.
How do you handle service and repairs?
In the unfortunate circumstance your gear requires repair, we’re here to help. Just contact us before sending in your bags so we can determine the best solution to get them working again. We can perform most repairs on older bags as well. Please clean the area that needs repaired before sending in. We cannot send dirty material through the machines. Thank you!
Do you have left handed options?
Hello fellow southpaws! I’ll make this quick and easy. Any set we offer is also available in a lefty set up at no extra fee. But it will require that your order go into the custom build stack. Please do not order a set from the site and request it be in a leff-handed orientation. If it's not listed as a lefty set, we do not have it in stock. We will try to keep options in the Available Now section for immediate purchase. But we're happy to get you exactly what you need, provided you can wait it out. Thanks!
What is your shipping policy?
Becuse blue collar workers at both of these companies have the benefit of union membership, we use UPS and USPS for most domestic deliveries. Insurance is available and encouraged. If you prefer to use a different shipper, please contact us before ordering so we can make other delivery arrangements.
